Anna Ruth Upchurch

Anna Ruth Upchurch was born on September 13, 1928 in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away at The Waters of Gainesboro on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the age of 97.

Anna was the daughter of Hiram Andrew Upchurch and Jewel Lucinda Heady Upchurch. She was a life long faithful member of the Stone Church of Christ.  She worked for Jackson County Bank then Jackson Bank and Trust and before retiring at age 75 she worked for First Freedom Bank.

She was preceded in death by her parents: sister: Tom Brown Upchurch Anderson and brother: Robert Lee Upchurch, Sr.

Survived by: niece, Lucinda Anderson (Louis Joseph Vedros, Jr.) Vedros of Gainesboro, TN; nephew, Robert L. (Vickie Holloway) Upchurch, Jr of Knoxville, TN; great nieces and nephews, Danielle Vedros (Kenneth) Belala of Tickfaw, LA, Leah Vedros (Joseph) Mollohan of Springfield, TN, Rob Upchurch of Knoxville, TN, Ryan (Caroline) Upchurch of Knoxville, TN; great great nieces and nephews, Gia Songy (Stefen) Landry of Hammond, LA, Cole Michael Meadows of Baxter, TN, Raiden Upchurch of Knoxville, TN, Ava Upchurch of Knoxville, TN.

Funeral services and internment will be held on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at 2:00pm at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
