Barbara Walker

Barbara Walker was born on October 3, 1939 in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away at Signature Healthcare and Rehab in Algood, TN on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the age of 86.

Barbara was the daughter of William Fred Flatt and Zora V Mayberry Flatt. She was a member of McCoinsville Church of Christ. She retired from the deli department at Walmart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clayton Walker who passed away on Sept 9, 2020, brothers, Joe Flatt, Logan Flatt and William "Buddy" Flatt and sister, Jessie McCloud.

Survived by brother, Fred (Malisse) Flatt; sisters, Pauline Moceri, Vilnessa Holloway, Villary LaRue, Villette (Dorman Laycock) Roberts, and Samantha Roberts; special friends Susie and Brittany Spivey. Hosts of nieces and nephews along with other family members and many friends survive

Visitation will be on Sunday 10 am to 2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 15, 2026 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery.
