Brenda Peek

Brenda Peek was born on June 9, 1956 in Gainesboro, TN and she passed away at her residence in the Free State Community on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the age of 69.

Brenda was the daughter of Eugene Stafford and Margaret Elizabeth Brown Stafford. She was a member of Free State Church of Christ and a retired factory worker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bobby Stafford and Danny Stafford.

Survived by: daughter Amy Avent of Gainesboro TN; grandchildren, Hillary (Logan) Lackey of Gainesboro TN, and Casey (Robert) VanWolf of Gainesboro TN; great grandchild, Axel VanWolf of Gainesboro TN. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive along with many friends.

Memorial service will be held at the Free State Church of Christ on Sunday, February 8th at 4 pm with Bro. Chris Ramsey and Bro. Matthew Scoggins officiating.  Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm at Free State Church of Christ.
