Charles Greenwood

Charles Thomas Greenwood was born on July 19, 1946 in Jackson Co, TN and he passed away at Quality Care for Rehab and Healing in Lebanon, TN on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the age of 79.

Charles was the son of Lattie Oplis Greenwood and Dimple Olene Barlow Greenwood. During his life he was a railroad conductor. Mr. Greenwood was a mason and a Veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bobby Joe Greenwood, Hugh Greenwood, Jimmy Greenwood and Mack Greenwood.

Survived by his wife, Doris Greenwood of Lebanon; son Scott (Holly) Greenwood of Mt. Juliet TN; daughter Jeanne (Wayne) Chance of Lebanon TN; brother George (Pat) Greenwood of Clarksville TN; sister Mary Heady of Cookeville TN; grandchildren Madeline Greenwood of Mt. Juliet TN, Mason Greenwood of Mt. Juliet TN, Wilson Greenwood of Mt. Juliet TN and Chandler Chance of Lebanon TN. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Thursday 4-8 pm Friday 12-2 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 10, 2026 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lynn Cemetery.
