Dalton Lee Richardson

Dalton Richardson was born on September 24, 1940 in Gainesboro, TN and he passed away at NHC Healthcare of Sparta on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the age of 85.

Dalton was the son of John Parish Richardson and Buna D. Hamlet Richardson. He was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joel Richardson and Odell Richardson; sisters, Willie Edna Scantland, Velma Smith, Doris Chaffin, Dorothy Bradford.

Survived by: sons Johnny (Sandra) Richardson of Hilham TN, Donny Richardson of Portland TN; daughter, Deanna (Chris) Lilly of Gainesboro TN, step daughter, Tammy; brother Ben Richardson of Gainesboro TN; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Former wife: Patricia Bennett of Sparta along with other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday 4-8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery.
