Daryl Wayne Roberts Sr. of Gainesboro, TN passed away peacefully on November 28th, 2025 with his family by his side at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was 58 years old.
Daryl proudly worked as a concrete foreman for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Joe Roberts Sr. and Tiewonia Jeanette Roberts (Walker), and sister Gina Stangenberg.
Daryl is survived by his spouse of 34 years Shelia Faye Roberts (Davis), daughter Kayla (Jon) Schmidt, sons Daryl Wayne Roberts Jr (DJ) and Evan Roberts, granddaughter Brynlee Schmidt who called him "PePa", brother Jimmy Joe Roberts Jr. (Kim) and several nieces and nephews.
Daryl had chosen to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12 noon at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be given to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
