Faye Head

Faye Head was born on August 4, 1942, in Jackson County TN and passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 83.

Faye was the daughter of Reggie Phann and Gladice Lucille Smith Phann. She was a member of Church of Christ and worked as a nursing aid at Jackson County Hospital for many years.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Dwane Head; Sister-n-law: Debbie Phann; Daughter-n-law: Patty Head; son: Ricky Wayne Head; brother: Jimmy Phann; sister: Sue Heady.

Survived by sons Jerry Head of Gainesboro TN, Richard Dale Head of Gainesboro TN, Roy Douglas Head of Gainesboro TN; brother Jr. Phann of Gainesboro TN; sister Joyce (Corbitt) Herd of Gainesboro TN; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other relatives also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 4 – 8 pm continuing on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 10 am to 7 pm and on Monday October 20, 2025 from 9 am until time of her services at 2pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.  Bro. Matthew Scoggins will officiate the service.

Memorial donations may be made to assist with her funeral expense.
