Geraldine Craighead

Geraldine Craighead was born on August 13, 1932, in Jackson County, TN and she passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the age of 93.

Geraldine was the daughter of Fred Sisco and Nannie Byrd Lee Sisco. She was a member of Cubb Creek Church of Christ and a retired LPN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dallas Craighead Sr. who passed away Oct. 30, 1997; sons: Dallas Craighead Jr. and Stephen Craighead; brother, Willie Hugh Sisco; and sister, Shirley Mitchell.

Survived by her: son, Michael Craighead of Whitleyville, TN; sister: Pauline Russell of FL; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; daughter in laws: Teresia Craighead of Whitleyville, TN and Jackie Craighead.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 202,6 from 4-8 pm and Thursday 9 am to 11 am at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 8, 2026, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Huffines officiating. Burial will follow in Cubb Creek Cemetery.
