James Randall Calvert

James Randall Calvert was born on October 10, 1966, in Portland, TN and passed away at his residence in Jackson County on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 59.

James Randall was the son of James Odis Calvert and Lola Virginia Mooneyhan Calvert. He was of Christian faith.  Randall enjoyed the outdoors.  He spent lots of time ginseng hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, .

He was survived by his daughter: Ginger Thomason of Hendersonville, TN; brother: Roger (Carrie) Calvert of Gainesboro, TN; nephew: Justin Calvert of Gainesboro, TN; and niece: Jada Calvert of Gainesboro, TN.

The family has made the decision to honor James Randall's request to be cremated.  There is no further services scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
