Jimmie Louis Frizzell

Jimmie Louis Frizzell was born on December 17, 1951 in Metropolis, IL and he passed away at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the age of 74.

Jimmie was the son of Johnnie Austin Frizzell and Hazel Louise Green Frizzell. He was a member of Baptist Church and a welder. Mr. Frizzell enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, good home cooking and fresh seafood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Frizzell, brother, Larry Frizzell, uncle Jim Frizzell.

Survived by: beloved daughter Alicia (Eddie Chip) Strong of Gainesboro TN; grandchildren Jesse (Miranda) Strong of Quebeck, TN, David (Kimberlea) Strong of Baxter TN; great grandchildren Walker Strong, Bristol Strong, Connor Strong; former wife and mother of his children, Belinda Frizzell of Hilham TN; aunt June Frizzell. Several nieces and one nephew along with multiple cousins also survive.

The family would like to extend many thanks to any and all who supported us and given condolences and prayers with special thanks to The Waters of Gainesboro and Wyndridge Nursing Facility in Crossville.

Graveside services and internment will be held on Sunday February 8, 2026 at 2:00pm at Lynn Cemetery in Gainesboro with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
