Phillip Allen

Phillip Allen was born on August 26, 2000 in Cookeville, TN and he passed away at his residence in the Dodson Branch Community of Jackson County on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the age of 25.

Phillip was the son of Scott Brown Allen and Mary Elizabeth Casteel Allen. He affiliated with Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather: Tommy Allen, Maternal grandfather, Robert "Chill" Casteel.

Survived by: brother Austin Allen of Cookeville TN; sister Katelyn Allen of Cookeville TN; parents, Scott "Scotty" Allen and Elizabeth Allen of Cookeville TN; maternal grandparents: Arvil and Mary Sue Flatt of Gainesboro TN; paternal grandmother, Brenda Howard of Morristown TN. Aunts, uncles many cousins and friends all survive. Best friend Aaron Steckel also survives.

Visitation will be on Monday 4-8 pm and Tuesday 9 to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Flatt - Woolbright Cemetery.
