Age 88

Ralph Edward Carl was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on March 7, 2026, in Livingston, Tennessee, concluding a long and faith-filled life that began on July 14, 1937, in New York. A man of deep Christian convictions, Ralph's life was a testament to the love and grace of God, which he exemplified in every role he undertook—be it as a husband, brother, father, or friend.

Ralph was a true patriot, having honorably served in the United States Navy. His dedication to his country was matched only by his commitment to his work and his faith. After his military service, Ralph pursued his passion for entrepreneurship and community service. He attended barber school in 1958, subsequently joining his father in the family barber shop business, where he honed his craft with precision and care. His professional journey later led him to management at the Accelerated Christian Education Company in Louisville, Texas, where he influenced many through his leadership and Christian witness.

Ralph's love for knowledge and learning was insatiable. An avid reader, he found joy and inspiration in the pages of countless books, which fueled his intellectual curiosity and his profound understanding of the Bible. His intelligence was matched by a loving heart and a faith that shone brightly, guiding him through life's challenges and triumphs.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Frank Edward Carl and Thelma Sanky Carl. Ralph's legacy is carried on by his beloved spouse of 68 years, Beverly Carl, and his cherished siblings: David (Alice) Carl of Dodson Branch, TN, Calvin Curtis (Diane) Carl of Burdett, NY, and Barbara Tennity of Titusville, FL. Ralph was a beloved brother to the late Douglas Carl of New York and Allen Carl of TN; sisters: Shirley Davis of NY, Dora Vanvlett of TX, Beverly Angel of NY, and Marie Carl of NY. His was a proud father to his two daughters: Tina Renee Carl of NY and Tonya Ralane Ratje of TX, whom he held their memories in his heart until his death.

Ralph E. Carl's life was a reflection of his enduring faith. Those who knew him were blessed by his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment to his beliefs. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary man, we celebrate a life well-lived and a journey completed in the assurance of eternal peace. Ralph's influence will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will remain a beacon of light for the path ahead. We are comforted by the knowledge that Ralph now rests in the glorious presence of the Creator he so faithfully served.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Dodson Branch Cemetery at 11 AM. Billy A. Sheesley will be officiating.
