Ray David Sisco

Ray David Sisco was born on July 16, 1952 in Jackson County, TN and passed away at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage on Monday, November 3, 2025 at the age of 73.

Ray was the son of Herman Bedford Sisco and Gwendolyn Jewel Etheridge Sisco. He was the minster at Beech Grove Church of Christ.  He worked at Kimball Int in Lafayette until its closing and then he worked at Jackson County High School as a custodian. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, Willie and Georgia Stafford, sister-in-law, Judy Sisco and brother-in-law, David Stafford.

Survived by: spouse, Mashell Sisco of Whitleyville; daughter Jennifer (Wayne) Bergdorf of Whitleyville TN; brothers Mark Sisco of Whitleyville TN,  John D. (Brenda Holt) Sisco of Whitleyville TN; sister Karen (Roger) Ward of Gainesboro TN; grandchildren Cameron (Amy Poston and family) Bergdorf of Rickman TN, Makenzie Lynn (Nook) Bergdorf of Hermitage Springs TN; special to him great niece and nephew, Paisley Stafford and Cason Sneed.  Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Wed. 3-8 pm and Thursday 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. John D. Sisco and Bro. Kenneth Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery.
